This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Métodos de Amostragem
Wild birds were captured using six 12-meter-long mist nets deployed over a two-day period at each site, operated from 6:30 am to 11:30 am. Sampling took place between March and October 2021 across 13 localities within seasonally dry tropical forest in eastern Guatemala. Sites varied in the degree of anthropogenic disturbance. Mist nets were checked frequently to reduce handling time and minimize stress. Captured birds were identified, and a small blood sample was collected via brachial venipuncture for the detection of avian malaria parasites (Plasmodium, Haemoproteus and Leucocytozoon) using PCR. All birds were released at the site of capture after sampling.
